We spent this week in Washington DC with our friends at ACT | The App Association discussing various issues and policies that affect the software / technology industry; therefore… issues affecting us as a business, our clients, and the customers of our clients.
Throughout our time in DC, we discussed policy and pressing issues with the White House, the FCC, and a handful of Senators and Congressmen on Capitol Hill.
The issues discussed range from the importance of K-12 computer science education, to help develop the next generation of developers; increasing 5G and broadband infrastructure, to help improve access to internet even in remote areas, and keep up with new technology that depends on fast internet speeds; protecting consumer privacy, and more.
Some of our favorite meetings included those with the Executive Office of the President, Office of Science and Technology Policy; Commissioner Carr at the FCC, and Congressman Chabot.
