A newly certified CPA accountant, BJ Butler, decided to leave the firm he was working for and start his own. He wanted to eliminate the perception of accounting and taxes being a daunting, mysterious task. He asked us to help him develop a brand around his new firm focused on three core pillars: approachability, simplicity, and transparency.
After helping him create his brand, we shifted focus to designing and developing a website that not only reflects his core values, but that also acts as an effective sales and lead generation tool, driving users to submit contact forms and contact him to grow his new business.
A brand with deeper roots
Revo’s vision was to develop a brand that connects millennials with professionals to easily handle their taxes. We designed the Revo brand to reflect their roots as professional accountants who love working with young professionals and business owners who are building the future.
Creating a design language made for millennials
We developed a look and feel that welcomes visitors into the community and highlights the passion that the Revo team has for accounting and helping individuals and businesses. We focused on making everything from the layout to the imagery approachable, simple, and transparent.

Mobile usage on this website is ~33%, but even without data, it is a no-brainer that every website should have an exceptional mobile experience. With a big emphasis on young professionals and business owners who are hard-pressed for time, we knew mobile would be regularly used to engage with this site. We worked to give users an experience tailored to the devices they use most frequently, to make sure Revo’s prospects convert after landing on the site.
